Job Description

The Manager, Revenue Strategy & Operations role at OpenTable involves supporting sales and services programs, initiatives, and analytics in North America. The role requires manipulating data to discover trends, make strategic recommendations, and monitor business health, working cross-functionally with various departments. The position requires excellent communication, project management, and data analysis skills, with experience in SQL, BI tools, and Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver analytics to support Sales and Services decisions
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts
  • Prepare and present data analysis
  • Translate data into insights and recommendations
  • Build and maintain financial models and dashboards
  • Collaborate with sales and services leads
  • Guide team priorities to align analytics efforts
  • Handle inbound analytics requests
  • Evaluate sales territories and headcount needs
  • Improve Salesforce.com processes

Requirements

  • 2+ years people management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytics role
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience with Snowflake or other relational databases
  • Experience with visualization tools
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Operational experience in measuring efficiency
  • Self-starter with strong sense of ownership
  • Clear communicator with a bias for action
  • Ability to work in a remote and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Understanding of sales processes a plus
