Job Description

The Clinical Genomic Specialist (CGS) will increase the number of Hereditary Cancer test samples sent to Natera within their territory, focusing on the Genetic Counselor call point within Cancer Centers. They will collaborate with oncology team peers to drive unit pull-through, secure Natera as the lab of choice, and facilitate EMR integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in Natera’s products and services
• Achieve sales targets by driving new patient adoption and acquiring new accounts
• Develop and execute a business plan to acquire and retain clients
• Implement sales strategies and marketing plans
• Target specific medical professionals to drive adoption
• Execute a strategic territory plan
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians and accounts
• Collaborate with teams to drive renewals and optimize revenue
• Work with Key Opinion Leaders to develop care pathways and partnerships
• Demonstrate expertise in oncology and diagnostics

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree required
• Minimum of three years of physician sales experience in the diagnostic laboratory industry
• Background in medical or biological sciences
• Strong market knowledge and experience selling to specific medical professionals is highly preferred
• Proven track record of success in establishing new markets and driving revenue growth
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Gmail, and Salesforce.com
• Ability to travel 50%–75% within the designated territory
• Valid driver’s license
