Job Description

The Clinical Oncology Specialist (COS) role involves oncology diagnostics sales, focusing on establishing, developing, and growing a territory to exceed sales goals. Responsibilities include creating a strategic territory plan, managing sales activities, acquiring new accounts, retaining existing customers, implementing initiatives, and building relationships with physicians and accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Learn Natera products, services, and processes
  • Achieve sales objectives and manage revenue and expenses
  • Develop and maintain KOL relationships
  • Drive strategic business opportunities
  • Develop a comprehensive business plan
  • Execute sales strategies and tactics
  • Maintain product, market, and competitor knowledge
  • Implement laboratory services agreements
  • Collaborate with sales and market partners
  • Conduct business ethically

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of Oncology sales experience
  • Knowledge of the local oncology market, molecular diagnostics, and reimbursement
  • Ability to perform overnight travel
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • 5+ years of Oncology, Pathology or Laboratory sales experience
  • Oncology clinical & medical expertise
