Taskrabbit is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their team. The role involves executing technical security initiatives across a cloud-native infrastructure, focusing on security improvements. The ideal candidate is a seasoned technical security generalist with experience in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical security controls aligned to CIS requirements
• Integrate security into CI/CD and infrastructure pipelines
• Build and maintain security automation
• Respond to security alerts and lead incident response investigations
• Drive vulnerability management and system hardening
• Contribute to security documentation and policy development
• Manage and maintain IT security infrastructure

Requirements

• 5+ years in a similar role
• Experience securing cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Proficient with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding principles
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, or detection pipelines
• Proficiency in scripting/automation languages
