Job Description

Shift4 is expanding its QA division and is hiring three Jr QA Engineers to participate in the evolution and execution of procedures for ensuring the quality of new features and software releases, and maintaining quality standards for company products.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and evaluate quality control methods and systems
• Design continuing maintenance of product quality
• Develop professional expertise and apply company policies
• Perform moderately complex problem-solving
• Assist in the assessment and planning of test efforts
• Authorize and execute test cases/scripts
• Analyze and write test standards and procedures
• Maintain documentation of test results
• Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions
• Isolate, reproduce, manage, and maintain defect and test case databases
• Develop product quality control inspection specification and techniques

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering or related or experience in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years of software / hardware test experience and / or customer support experience for POS systems
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with developers and business analysts
• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation
• Experience with test tools
• Experience as a user with Android operating system
