Oportun is seeking customer service-oriented candidates to work Full-Time. The primary focus is to create a rewarding member service experience through in-store and community outreach. Responsibilities include processing transactions, exceeding goals, and educating members about financial services.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and provide quality service
• Process transactions following company policies
• Work independently and as a team to exceed goals
• Educate potential members about Oportun’s services through outreach
• Build relationships with local businesses
• Conduct outreach at community events
• Support community outreach and marketing events
• Use iPads to assist with applications
• Maintain work area and store location
• Use a computer for administrative tasks
• Stand while assisting members
• Unpack and store supplies
• Travel between work locations

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Outgoing and sales-focused
• Enjoys speaking with people
• Available to work weekends and flexible hours
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Willing to work outdoors
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to operate office equipment
• Ability to organize and file documents
