Job Description

Muon seeks a Flight Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test software and firmware for orbiting satellites.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Muon’s satellite bus platform and payload software
• Translate concepts and requirements into design and working implementations
• Design, bring up, and support embedded software for satellite flight systems
• Participate in evaluating and selecting technologies
• Write application, platform, and driver functionality
• Integrate compute and peripheral subsystems software
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams
• Participate in developing software and hardware-in-the-loop test strategies

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong C/C++ programming and Intermediate Python skills
• Embedded systems fundamentals
• Integration and control of external hardware devices
• Excellent communication skills
