Perplexity AI is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to build and expand Comet, their new browser. The role involves developing a performant mobile browser, collaborating with design, data science, and infrastructure teams, and ensuring a high-quality user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop a performant mobile browser
• Ensure high craft and quality in UX and developer experience
• Work closely with design teams to design UI
• Collaborate with data science and machine learning teams
• Work with infrastructure and QA teams on deployment processes

Requirements

• 4+ years industry experience
• Expertise in TypeScript and top frameworks
• Expertise in Git and TypeScript building tools
• Strong Javascript fundamentals and experience with modern frontend stack
• Enjoys building UI, UX, and writing reusable code
• Understands low-level intricacies and app performance
• Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team
• Passion for shipping
• Experience with Android or iOS (bonus)
• Experience building custom Javascript native hooks (bonus)
