Ava Labs is seeking a precision-driven, crypto-fluent Digital Assets Accountant who thrives in fast-moving, high-accountability environments. This role is foundational to the accuracy and integrity of our crypto reconciliations, with deep exposure to sub-ledgers, wallets, and on-chain activity.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile digital asset activity across wallets, exchanges, and custodians
• Maintain auditable records of wallet balances and ownership
• Prepare journal entries for digital asset activity
• Apply consistent accounting logic to blockchain transactions
• Identify discrepancies and suggest resolution paths
• Collaborate with teams to validate data and ensure smooth operations
• Prepare schedules and documentation for audits
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies
• Communicate reconciliation risks
• Assist in standardizing and documenting digital asset accounting procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally with at least 1 year in crypto
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
• Hands-on experience with crypto wallets and exchanges
• Comfortable working with blockchain explorers
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
