Job Description

Mercury seeks a Senior Compliance Risk Manager to join the Product Compliance team, focusing on ACH, Wires, and Checks. This role involves advising product teams on regulatory requirements, supporting new product development, and identifying compliance risks.

Responsibilities

• Work with risk and product teams to ensure regulatory compliance
• Ensure ACH payment processes comply with Nacha rules
• Support new payments product launches
• Drive remediation efforts
• Define and achieve departmental initiatives
• Liaise with auditors
• Contribute to a strong culture of compliance

Requirements

• 5-7 years of compliance advisory experience, ideally in fintech or payments
• Subject matter expert in Nacha compliance
• Knowledge of banking payments rails and card network rules
• Experience in regulatory compliance matters
• Ability to evaluate emerging products for compliance risk
• Ability to identify and define problems and manage solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively across various lines of business
• Ambitious sense of curiosity
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Respect for financial rules and regulations
