Job Description

Mercury is seeking a Sales Development Lead to scale their SDR team, focusing on pipeline goals, mentoring, and strategy development. The role involves coaching, pipeline management, messaging, conversion optimization, training, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach SDRs to drive pipeline in new verticals
  • Oversee pipeline health and lead distribution
  • Help build and refine outbound messaging
  • Identify patterns in high-performing outreach
  • Build and lead training sessions
  • Create a culture of excellence
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, and GTM Strategy

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of experience in a Sales Development role
  • 18+ months in a leadership role managing teams
  • Proven track record of coaching SDRs
  • Experience managing a large pipeline
  • Deep understanding of outbound sales strategies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A motivating presence
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with sales tools
  • Curious mindset and ability to ramp up quickly
