Job Description

Tenstorrent is seeking a Functional Simulation Architect to develop a virtual platform with SystemC/C++ models for CPU, ML Accelerators, and peripheral controllers. This role involves guiding model development, facilitating hardware-software co-design, and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Guide the development and use of complex models and tools
• Guide modeling architectures, requirements, and systems performance
• Guide the creation of models to support analysis of alternatives
• Mentor Mid- and Junior-level contract Engineers

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Hands-on programming experience in C/C++
• Strong understanding of low level OS and Hardware programming
• Understanding of complexities of developing, debugging, maintenance, and running prototype models
• 8+ years of experience in low level Software development, ASIC architecture evaluation, or algorithm development
• Experience working across multiple projects and adjusting priorities
