Alarm.com is seeking a Finance Operations Controller to lead the accounting function for their EnergyHub business in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves managing the accounting team, ensuring financial accuracy, and partnering with the executive team to drive process improvements and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly close process and financial reporting
• Ensure financial information accuracy in compliance with GAAP
• Drive a business partner-oriented performance culture
• Consult with internal business partners on complex transactions
• Adhere to internal policies, audit procedures, and regulations
• Lead interim and year-end support for auditors
• Partner with FP&A and other functional area owners
• Nurture partnerships with leaders across EnergyHub
• Partner with the revenue accounting team and sales leadership

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in technology-focused corporate and/or public accounting
• CPA qualification
• Multiple ERP experience
• Demonstrated ability to build for scale and complexity
• Experience in developing and managing a sound internal control environment
• Good technical accounting and financial reporting skills
• Strict attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability
• Can-do attitude and flexibility
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving ability
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
