Job Description

Gusto is seeking a Channel Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with accounting partners, onboard their clients, and drive new business. The role involves managing a high volume book of business, conducting consultative sales, and staying updated on product developments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume book of business and build relationships with accounting partners
  • Engage and ramp relationships with existing accounting partners through consultative sales
  • Keep accounting partners updated on new product developments and best practices
  • Penetrate the accounting firm by convincing additional accountants to join
  • Win new business in competitive sales
  • Construct, forecast, and manage sales pipeline
  • Leverage People Advisory and Certification to deepen strategic partnerships
  • Deliver comprehensive product demos and answer technical inquiries
  • Contribute accurate records and notes to a team-wide CRM

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional sales experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing a book of business and carrying a quota
  • Experience in a high-volume, high-velocity environment
  • Ability to build rapport and trust
  • Team player with customer-service mentality
