Job Description

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to join their SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting team. The role involves supporting stock-based compensation and equity accounting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and SOX procedures, preparing earnings per share computations, forecasting SBC expense, and conducting accounting research.

Responsibilities

• Support stock-based compensation and equity accounting processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, standards, and SOX internal control procedures
• Prepare basic and diluted earnings per share computation and forecast of share count
• Forecast SBC expense and prepare SBC fluctuation analyses
• Conduct in-depth research on accounting guidance and write technical accounting memos

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or equivalent certification
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in the technology industry
• Experience with public companies, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
• Drive operational excellence by identifying and leading process improvements
• Partner effectively with cross-functional teams
