Job Description

As a quantitative sales associate, you will oversee the full scope of sales at Databento, including technical sales, creating examples with market data, gathering customer feedback, maintaining accurate forecasting, building industry relationships, staying updated on trends, and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical sales process

Requirements

  • Experience with the end-to-end sales pipeline
  • Ability to communicate with developers and quants
  • Experience with quant trading and market microstructure
  • Attention to detail and record-keeping
  • Professional communication skills
  • White-glove management of the sales cycle
  • Readiness to work within a startup environment
  • Active usage of Github, knowledge of C++, Python, and/or Rust (bonus)
