Job Description

The Software TPM role within the Motive Engineering organization is for an individual with a background in software development and project management experience. The candidate will be a strong technical contributor for the TPM team and be well versed in the processes necessary to deliver high quality software to our customers, with a strong background in Agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project plans including schedules and deliverables
• Administer a review process to validate development phases
• Monitor project progress and report status
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize risk
• Help validate test plans and testing completion
• Respond to issues by coordinating resolution
• Coach engineers and leads on effective processes

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development and management
• Device software experience with firmware and hardware
• Experience in project scheduling, resource allocation, task management, and risk management
• Experience managing projects with multiple teams at multiple sites
• Experience managing outsourced firmware projects
• Ability to lead without authority and prioritize effectively
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment
