Job Description

The Senior Sales Engineer will partner with Strategic Account Executives to increase effectiveness, productivity, and revenue growth. They will provide product demonstrations, support POCs, and possess excellent communication, technical comprehension, and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Strategic Account Executives for discovery calls, product demonstrations, POC support, and onsite meetings
  • Provide customized demonstrations of Motive products
  • Match customer needs to proposed solutions
  • Become an expert on Motive’s competition
  • Be a product expert on Motive’s current offering and roadmap
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs
  • Act as a sales liaison between internal organizations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of pre-sales/sales engineering experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Bachelor’s of Science preferred, MS a plus
  • Ability to travel ~30%
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Consistent track record selling complex solutions
  • Experience with Strategic Enterprise sales cycles
  • Experience in the Transportation & Logistics industry is a plus
  • Experience with APIs and integrations
