Job Description

The Trust & Safety Manager at DoorDash leads a team to improve the quality of operations through investigation of safety incidents, implementation of quality measures, collaboration, and people leadership. This role involves standardizing and scaling a high-volume operations team, identifying opportunities, and developing solutions to achieve organizational goals. The manager will be responsible for fostering team collaboration, employee development, and problem-solving, with an in-office presence required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Community Response team
  • Guide workforce management efforts and standardization
  • Develop expertise in DoorDash processes
  • Oversee skill and career development of team members
  • Work with the Strategy & Operations and Product teams to problem solve and build solutions

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in operations/support operations, adjudication, or high-volume case management, specifically in Trust & Safety
  • Ability to identify trends and apply product and operational countermeasures
  • Ability to operate autonomously while working with partners
  • Unafraid of change
  • Responsible and reliable
  • Curious and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Salesforce, SQL and Google applications
  • Direct experience working in Trust & Safety or crisis management
