Job Description

As a Merchant Category Specialist at DashMart, you’ll play a critical role in building, managing, and scaling our local vendor ecosystem across key categories. You will own end-to-end vendor relationships, from sourcing and onboarding to strategic negotiations and ongoing partnership management.

Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and onboard local vendors across high-priority categories
• Serve as the primary point of contact for local merchants
• Own the performance of your categories
• Work closely with supply chain, procurement, menu specialists, marketing, and local operations teams
• Create and execute marketing campaigns
• Use sales data and customer insights to optimize the local assortment

Requirements

• Strong ownership mentality and the ability to work independently
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel is required, ability to draw trends from data, and SQL experience preferred
• Prior experience in Sales or Account Management preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
