Job Description

The Senior Operations Associate, Kitchens will supervise and operate a shared-use commercial kitchen, ensuring accurate and timely food order preparation while maintaining operating standards and overseeing staff. Responsibilities include managing kitchen processes, safety, quality, and training, leading day-to-day operations, and contributing to operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage kitchen processes, safety, cleanliness, quality, and training
• Lead day-to-day operations including ordering, receiving, and storage of products
• Prepare customer orders and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Contribute ideas to improve quality and customer experience
• Support customers, merchant partners, and dashers
• Assist with operations on the warehouse floor
• Open and close the facility
• Receive supplier deliveries and manage inventory
• Clean and organize shared spaces
• Provide basic maintenance and repairs
• Provide technical assistance to merchants
• Ensure safe food handling procedures
• Manage shared storage areas

Requirements

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Basic skills to make emergency repairs and conduct maintenance
• Highly organized, works well under pressure, and executes tasks with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
• 1-2 years of previous experience in the food and beverage industry (Nice to have)
• At least 1 year of training experience (Nice to have)
• Working knowledge of MS Office, G Suite, Salesforce and Point-of-Sale Software (Nice to have)
• Ability to communicate in Spanish (Nice to have)
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
• Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen
• Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and participate in all service aspects and training
