Job Description

The Risk & Insurance team at DoorDash is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to support the actuarial core function and advance analytical capabilities. The role involves data-driven insights for actuarial decisions, evaluating operational trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and perform quantitative analyses to support reserving accuracy and optimize insurance program structure
• Build and maintain tools and dashboards for loss analysis and trend monitoring
• Refine monthly performance reporting and automate workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate operational insights
• Gather and reconcile data for actuarial analyses
• Take ownership of assigned projects

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a quantitative or analytics role within the insurance industry
• Understanding of statistical analysis
• Experience managing relationships and working with all levels of an organization
• Experience in reserving and pricing
• Strong Excel, SQL, ETL, and Python (or R) skills
• Advanced visualization skills using Tableau
• Completed at least 5 actuarial exams
