Job Description

DoorDash Labs seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to develop and maintain automation frameworks and functional test setups for power and high-speed designs, focusing on automating test processes, analyzing test results, and ensuring product performance meets design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using LabVIEW
• Design and execute functional tests for power electronics and high-speed interfaces
• Develop and configure test instrumentation for power and signal integrity analysis
• Automate high-speed signal characterization and power cycling tests
• Capture, process, and analyze test data
• Generate test reports
• Design and maintain test benches, fixtures, and automated test equipment
• Ensure calibration and traceability of test instrumentation
• Implement self-diagnostic and health-monitoring routines
• Optimize test execution time and resource utilization
• Develop guidelines and best practices for test automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of experience with LabVIEW development, test automation, and functional testing
• Strong background in power electronics and high-speed signal design/testing
• Hands-on experience with test equipment
• Understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC principles
• Experience with scripting languages
• Familiarity with PCIe, USB, Ethernet, and other high-speed protocols
