Job Description

DoorDash is seeking a Director of Engineering, Security to lead Security Engineering and Security Enablement teams, focusing on building and operating security infrastructure and controls. The role involves evolving systems to prioritize security, abstracting it from engineers, and reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vision and strategy for a builder-first security organization
• Define and scale a global Security Partner organization
• Bring software engineering expertise in building and operating high scale systems
• Build, sustain, and grow a combined software engineering and security engineering organization

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or related discipline
• 15+ years experience in an engineering management role spanning software engineering and security engineering
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure engineering, developer experience, platform engineering, and information security
• Experience in building and operating mission-critical, reliable, scalable, and highly available engineering systems
• Track record of growing Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, Security Engineers, and Security Managers
• Exceptional partner to engineering teams
