Job Description

The Information Security team is looking for an Application Security Engineer to work on securing DoorDash’s Merchant products running within its cloud computing environment. You will be a part of our inclusive, collaborative team responsible for building a safe and reliable application platform.

Responsibilities

• Enact security strategies for DoorDash’s merchant applications
• Perform manual and automated code reviews
• Conduct regular application security assessments
• Define, document and implement security standards
• Provide feedback in engineering design reviews
• Manage application vulnerabilities
• Integrate and manage security tools
• Ensure applications honor security policy requirements
• Develop and implement secure network and process controls
• Develop tools and automated tests

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in application engineering or information security
• Deep understanding of OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities
• Interest in analyzing code and architecture from a security perspective
• Well versed with scripting and programming languages
• Experience with implementing and managing CI/CD pipeline security
• Breadth of technical experience across various application security areas
• Exceptional analytical and investigative abilities
• Experience solving complex, systemic issues
• Demonstrated track record of driving security improvements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Industry certifications are a plus
