Job Description

DoorDash is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to build and scale data models, pipelines, and self-service analytics across the organization. The role involves developing a reliable aggregation layer and reporting structure to meet business needs, enabling teams to access and analyze data independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes
• Define and own business KPIs and reporting
• Build processes for correct and timely reporting
• Address ad-hoc reporting requirements
• Build and enforce design patterns
• Build visually appealing and high-performing reporting/dashboard products

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or Scala
• Experience building reporting and dashboarding solutions
• Expertise in database fundamentals, SQL, and performance tuning
• Experience in maintaining data integrity and reliability
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
