Job Description

DoorDash seeks an experienced machine learning engineer to develop AI/ML for expanding merchant selection and growth, focusing on recommendation systems and AI solutions. The role involves building production machine learning solutions, collaborating with teams, and managing the modeling lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop production machine learning solutions
• Partner with engineering and product leaders
• Own the modeling life cycle end-to-end
• Find new ways to use diverse data sources

Requirements

• 1+ years of industry experience post PhD or 3+ years of industry experience post graduate degree of developing machine learning models
• Expertise in applied ML for Causal Inference and Recommendation Systems
• M.S., or PhD. in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Math, Operations Research, Physics, or other quantitative fields
• Ability to communicate technical details to nontechnical stakeholders
• Strong machine learning background in Python
