DoorDash seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on advancing its merchandising platform and simplifying consumer discovery for non-restaurant cravings. This role involves collaboration with various teams to define roadmaps and deliver impactful results, building customizable user experiences on mobile and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full-stack engineering team
• Collaborate with product, strategy, design, research, and analytics teams
• Define the roadmap and vision for the team
• Coach and empower engineers
• Apply technical expertise to maintain engineering standards
• Scale the team by developing internal and attracting external talent

Requirements

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years of industry experience, including 2+ years of management experience
• Experience managing engineering disciplines across BE + Android + iOS + Web
• Strong product sense and ability to collaborate with cross-functional peers
• Experience with non-technical stakeholders and building scalable products
• Ability to handle ambiguity and collect non-technical requirements
• Ability to guide and grow an engineering team
