The Fraud Machine Learning team at DoorDash is seeking an Applied Machine Learning engineer to develop and implement algorithmic solutions to prevent, detect, and mitigate fraud. The role involves working with production-level machine learning, solving end-user problems, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop production machine learning solutions
• Partner with engineering and product leaders
• Mentor junior team members

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience developing machine learning models
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• M.S. or PhD in a quantitative field
• Familiarity with a JVM language
• Familiarity with multi-task learning, LLMs and anomaly detection
• Fraud domain knowledge
