DoorDash is seeking a design leader to spearhead the Restaurant Services products, reporting to the Head of Merchant Design and managing a team of product designers. The role is hybrid, focusing on defining product vision, strategy, and managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Define vision and strategy for Restaurant Service products
• Evangelize customer-centric thinking
• Build a holistic design strategy
• Align team priorities and deliverables
• Manage, develop, and hire product designers
• Coach and mentor designers
• Build a culture that elevates the team
• Establish an operating model to increase team effectiveness

Requirements

• 12+ years of design experience, 7+ in team building
• Track record of delivering well-executed products
• Experience in disambiguating and innovating
• Ability to articulate a clear design strategy
• Experience in managing executive leadership
• Skilled at building a high-performing team
