Job Description

The Electromechanical Technician will be part of DoorDash Labs, working on autonomous delivery robots. The role involves servicing, assembling, repairing, and troubleshooting cutting-edge mobile robotic systems. The technician will work with engineering teams to develop new service strategies and contribute to the design and use of these systems.

Responsibilities

• Service and manufacture autonomous delivery robots
• Launch and develop new service strategies and workflows
• Assemble, repair, and troubleshoot mobile robotic systems
• Input into system design and usage
• Perform routine maintenance and new assembly
• Solve complex problems

Requirements

• Experience servicing and troubleshooting complex electromechanical robotics
• Experience with electric vehicle or industrial robotics wiring and electrical systems
• Obsessive attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and drawings
• Basic fabrication skills
• Good shop organization skills
