DoorDash Labs seeks a Senior Operations Specialist to oversee remote operations, ensuring efficiency and quality. This role involves managing schedules, escalating issues, and implementing process improvements while fostering a culture of safety and open communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily remote operations
• Ensure smooth and efficient operations during assigned shifts
• Maintain high standards of productivity and quality
• Foster a culture of safety and open communication
• Support remote operators with daily tasks
• Motivate and guide team members
• Monitor and manage workflow and schedules
• Handle administrative duties
• Communicate effectively with other shift leads and management
• Enforce safety and compliance standards
• Improve team safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with other Team Leads and Engineers

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in autonomous and/or robotics operations management
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering a culture of safety
• Skilled in using Jira, Slack, Google Workspace, Linux, GitHub, and other relevant tools
• Excellent leadership abilities
• Skilled in communication and advocating for ideas
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements
• Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to formulate and implement strategies
