Job Description

Grammarly is seeking a Sr. Manager, Sales Engineering to lead a team of Sales Engineers supporting Grammarly and Coda products. This role involves driving go-to-market efforts, managing technical relationships, running proof of concepts, and navigating complex procurement processes. The manager will lead, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Engineers who support the sales cycle by co-managing discovery, delivering tailored demos, running proofs of concept, quantifying business value, and addressing security and privacy concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Sales Engineers
  • Build strategic partnerships with Account Executives
  • Drive projects and implement processes to enhance team performance
  • Oversee the technical pre-sales process
  • Adapt strategies to align with product updates
  • Act as a key player in scaling go-to-market efforts
  • Ensure sales feedback is communicated to Product/Engineering teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience in Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting within a SaaS company
  • Experience managing sales engineering/pre-sales teams that support multi-product complex sales cycles
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to execute key initiatives
  • Strong communicator with ability to build effective relationships
  • Understanding of enterprise-level procurement processes
  • Adaptability to a constantly evolving product and market
  • Track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
