Job Description

WorldQuant seeks a Quantitative Strategist to join the Artificial Intelligence team, reporting to the Head of AI. The role involves implementing AI across the investment process, building models, collaborating with teams, and developing AI software.

Responsibilities

• Build AI/ML/reinforcement learning/optimization models
• Implement AI solutions through collaboration
• Access state-of-the-art data and hardware systems
• Develop foundational software for AI

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience training AI/ML models
• Experience building and maintaining complex software systems
• Willingness to explain and defend models
• Experience developing AI/ML algorithms and infrastructure
• Excellent knowledge of Python, NumPy, and Pandas
• Experience with XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost, Tensorflow, PyTorch, MOSEK, or CVXPY
• Graduate-level research experience in AI is a plus
• C++ knowledge is a plus
