Shield AI seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead complex programs at the intersection of autonomy, aircraft systems, and defense technology, driving planning, coordination, and delivery of integrated solutions. This role requires deep technical acumen and exceptional organizational skills to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead program planning, execution, and delivery across the aircraft systems division
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define program objectives and deliverables
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules and risk management strategies
• Monitor program performance and drive resolution of blockers
• Serve as the central communication hub for program execution
• Evolve program execution methodologies
• Cultivate a collaborative culture across engineering and operations teams
• Contribute to technical discussions and trade studies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• 5+ years of experience managing complex technical programs
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated industries
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency with program management tools
• Excellent communication skills
• U.S. citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance
