Job Description

Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst on Insikt Group’s Strategic and Persistent Threats (SPT) team, leading efforts to track state-sponsored APT campaigns, mentor peers in intrusion analysis, represent Insikt Group’s expertise externally, and support Recorded Future’s Analyst-on-Demand service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on APT activity
• Track APT campaigns
• Hunt for threat actor infrastructure
• Identify and deploy detection mechanisms
• Improve threat intelligence workflows
• Stay up to date on APT tradecraft
• Mentor colleagues
• Collaborate with analysis teams
• Propose new data sources
• Represent Insikt Group externally
• Collaborate with engineering teams
• Support customer intelligence needs

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent in related field
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security/Threat Intelligence
• Experience conducting technical threat analysis
• Knowledge of networking protocols
• Experience identifying and tracking infrastructure
• Experience with malware analysis
• Proficiency in scripting
• Experience with CTI research tools
• Experience applying analytical techniques
• Familiarity with threat modeling frameworks
• Understanding of APT groups
• Experience with open-source intelligence
• Strong communication skills
