Job Description

GTI is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the production team in the Centreville, MD facility. The Operations Manager will direct daily processes and long-term targets, manage internal resources, and ensure product quality, accurate orders, and inventory integrity. The role involves hands-on operational duties and requires working closely with production employees and GTI Headquarters leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic planning for facility plant operations
• Manage facility activities ensuring objectives are met
• Partner on budgeting and analyze facility data
• Develop and produce reporting to illustrate business trends
• Manage and maintain company culture
• Participate in developing and implementing policies and procedures
• Improve skills and morale of employees
• Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program
• Ensure compliance with requirements
• Be on-call for emergency situations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business
• 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods preferred
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma
• Exposure to horticulture and/or plant science a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly in a growth environment
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of critical thinking
• Operates with professionalism and integrity
• Understanding of Medical Marijuana laws
• Pass required background checks
• Remain compliant with legal and company regulations
