Job Description

RISE Personal Care Specialists engage in one-on-one interactions with patients and/or customers from the time they enter the retail area until they check out and exit the store. They connect each unique patient and/or customer with just the right product and method of consumption for their needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers
• Educate patients and/or customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety
• Recommend a safe and effective regimen suited to each patient and/or customer’s needs
• Promote a positive, communicative, patient and/or customer-oriented work environment
• Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
• Provide necessary support to the management team
• Ensure local and state cannabis regulations are properly enforced and upheld
• Ensure sales floor is properly stocked and maintained
• Maintenance of hard copy files
• Follow security measures and safety compliance procedures
• Complete duties at assigned workstations

Requirements

• At least one year of customer service experience
• Meet scheduling and availability requirements
• Reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance
• Must be 21 years or older
• Pass all required background checks
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
• Ability to perform tasks for prolonged periods of time
• Excellent customer service skills
• Desire to continuously learn about cannabis
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to listen well and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
• Previous experience with POS systems
• Understanding of applicable cannabis laws and regulations
• Ability to follow instructions and incorporate constructive criticism
• Operate with a high level of professionalism and integrity
