Job Description

The Pharmacist will direct and manage the dispensing of cannabis products to medical patients, serving as the onsite medical authority and providing education and counseling. The role involves assessing patient needs, ensuring compliance, and staying updated on cannabis research.

Responsibilities

• Dispense cannabis products during scheduled shifts
• Assess patient certifications and recommend treatment
• Drive retail sales and patient retention
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws
• Communicate restrictions to the dispensary team
• Provide medication information to patients
• Educate patients about cannabis
• Consult patients and recommend treatment
• Stay updated on cannabis research
• Assist with dispensary tasks

Requirements

• Registered and licensed Pharmacist
• 2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience
• Understanding of cannabinoids
• Experience with Point of Sale technology
• Knowledge of inventory and sales reporting
• Highly motivated and self-directed
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment
• Critical thinking skills
• Professionalism and integrity
• Understanding of cannabis laws
• Pass background checks
• Compliance with regulations
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum age of 21
• Approved by state badging agency
