The Solutions Delivery Manager II leads major enterprise projects and programs, collaborating with various teams to manage projects, set deadlines, and report on progress, focusing on airline/travel applications and IT systems.
Responsibilities
Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives
Champion software methodologies
Partner with project stakeholders to deliver projects
Document business cases and update product roadmaps
Manage backlog, prioritization, and change management
Manage team dynamics and ensure on-time delivery
Champion agile methodologies
Coordinate bi-weekly review meetings
Foster a culture of on-time delivery
Understand backlog tracking and burn-down metrics
Create and manage project documentation
Communicate project progress
Facilitate meetings and delegate tasks
Assist in developing program management processes
Ensure customer service standards are met
Model customer service standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum five years of experience managing enterprise projects
Experience with project management
PMP, SPS, CSM, or Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Experience with budget management
Knowledge of new technologies
Ability to manage distributed teams
Strong relationship-building skills
Expertise with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
Ability to partner with stakeholders
Experience in overseeing solution delivery projects
Ability to lead teams
Experience owning application development projects
Experience working with business representatives
Ability to work with diverse teams
Software Engineering or technical background (a plus)
