The Manager in Training supports the Store Manager in all business areas, focusing on customer experience, staff development, operational excellence, and exceeding sales goals.
Responsibilities
Exceed daily sales goals and ensure a unique customer experience
Educate customers and staff on brand values
Increase product knowledge and make informed recommendations
Demonstrate business acumen and impact metrics
Support the team on the sales floor and motivate them
Assess performance and support team growth
Engage the team to build relationships and connect to brand values
Support staffing through networking, recruitment, and succession planning
Collaborate on plans to improve staff engagement and performance
Keep shop compliant and ensure staff practice company standards
Manage inventory and ordering within budget
Follow merchandising and design standards
Ensure appropriate scheduling and allocation of breaks
Requirements
1-3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment
Excellent listening and communication skills
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills
Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
