Job Description

The Product Localisation Lead will be responsible for improving and running a playbook to guide engineering and product teams to understand what updates and additional work will be needed to have Kraken perform best in a new region. This role will engage with internal knowledge experts, liaise with external consultants, run training sessions, and compile and distribute details about a new market to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with VP of Markets to establish new market priorities
  • Develop a clear and repeatable playbook for gathering market information
  • Become a central point of contact for localisation-related questions
  • Work asynchronously with international teams
  • Understand where the next counties or markets will be
  • Refine questions for product groups to work in the new market
  • Gather information related to those questions
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions related to new markets
  • Opine on high level considerations related to the level of effort required to engage with a new market

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proactive, self-starter with a methodical approach
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of how to explore and localise software to new markets
  • Knowledge of the energy industry or experience with smart/non-smart meters is a plus
  • Experience with technical documentation is beneficial
