Job Description

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general-purpose humanoid. The Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. The Global Supply Manager will own commercial relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners, setting up the supply chain, determining manufacturing locations, and scaling from prototype to production volumes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for electronic components
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships
• Oversee the procurement process for electronic components and assemblies
• Manage purchase orders and track shipments
• Optimize inventory levels
• Implement supply chain risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor supplier performance
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal quality teams
• Negotiate long-term deals and supply agreements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain development or sourcing management, specifically with electronics
• Hands-on experience with wire harness manufacturing, connectors, sensor technologies, power electronics, and custom electronics
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Skilled at establishing strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ability to travel internationally 25%+
