Job Description

The Farmer's Dog is seeking a Director of Corporate Development & Strategy to identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities, partnerships, and strategic initiatives. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking and operational execution, involving long-range growth planning, financial modeling, and cross-functional team alignment.

Responsibilities

• Source, assess, and prioritize acquisition targets and investment opportunities
• Lead financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence processes
• Build business cases and present recommendations to executive leadership
• Develop long-term strategic plans and annual OKRs
• Drive market and competitive analysis to inform growth strategy
• Monitor industry trends and benchmarks
• Evaluate and structure commercial partnerships
• Own relationship management with strategic partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Package insights and recommendations for stakeholders

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or in-house strategy/corp dev role
• Experience with financial models, M&A or strategic growth projects
• Proven track record of closing M&A or partnership deals
• Ability to balance strategy and execution
• Excellent communication and influencing skills at the executive level
• Data analysis skills and a bias for action
• Highly collaborative and results-oriented
• Passion for working on impactful problems
