Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior GIS Support Specialist to join its Geospatial Platform team in Seattle, WA. The team builds a comprehensive platform for geospatial data ingestion, processing, and serving. The specialist will provide technical support, manage GIS data, and contribute to GIS project development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for GIS-related issues
• Troubleshoot data issues and configuration problems
• Develop and maintain user documentation
• Support GIS data sourcing, production, and analysis
• Perform geostatistical analysis and geoprocessing
• Maintain data integrity
• Assist in project management for GIS initiatives
• Collaborate on GIS workflow and tool development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or related field
• 5-7 years of GIS experience
• Strong customer service skills
• 3-5 years of GIS Python programming experience using GDAL
• Experience with ArcGIS/QGIS and GDAL
• Expert knowledge of GIS formats (mbtiles, GeoTIFF, COGS)
• Expert knowledge of GIS concepts (WGS84, Web Mercator, UTM, HAE, MSL)
• Knowledge of GIS content sourcing and production
• Experience with GIS data management
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to obtain security clearance (if required)
