Job Description

The Flight Test and Demonstration Team Operations Officer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of unmanned aircraft flight operations. They translate complex flight objectives into executable operations, drive key performance indicators (KPIs), and lead cross-functional coordination across test, engineering, and program teams. The role focuses on delivering predictable, scalable operational performance that enhances product validation, accelerates development cycles, and delights stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of unmanned aircraft flight operations
• Translate complex flight objectives into executable operations
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Lead cross-functional coordination across test, engineering, and program teams
• Deliver predictable, scalable operational performance

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in operational roles, logistics coordination, program/project management, or process improvement
• Competence in using metrics and performance indicators to inform decisions
• Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt quickly to changing mission or business needs
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities
• Ability to possess a Secret DoD security clearance
• Familiarity with military or civilian UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) operational procedures is preferred
• Background in aerospace operations, systems engineering, or military aviation is highly desirable
• Ability to interface with engineers, flight crews, and program stakeholders to align operations with developmental goals is preferred
• Strong briefing and analytical skills; able to interface with leadership, stakeholders, and external agencies is preferred
