Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help us design, implement, and maintain innovative infrastructure and applications in AWS public cloud environments. With a DevOps mindset and adherence to best practices, you will apply your world-class expertise in cloud-native infrastructure and automation to create powerful solutions for seamless deployment, monitoring, and automated remediation.

Responsibilities

  • Automate infrastructure & platform services in Public Clouds AWS using IaC tools such as Terraform
  • Design and manage Continuous deployment using Kubernetes, ArgoCD and Jenkins
  • Monitor applications and services within the environments & be part of the on-call rotation to resolve issues and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences
  • Configure and manage observability tools such as Instana, SumoLogic, Datadog for application performance monitoring, alert integration with Slack and PagerDuty
  • Learn about technologies outside of your realm of expertise that help drive innovation and robust solutions
  • Work collaboratively with engineering to develop/deploy our systems
  • Work with global team and participate in on-call support

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of total experience in DevOps and infrastructure automation
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure automation preferably in AWS
  • Experience and understanding in modern microservices-based cloud architecture
  • Prior experience working closely with Product, Engineering, and SecOps on shift-left strategies, CI/CD tools and solutions needed
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
  • Experience with Continuous Deployment tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD
  • Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools such as Sumo, Splunk, Datadog etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to document and explain technical details and concepts clearly and concisely
  • Flexibility to pitch in where needed across program and team
  • Strong influence and teamwork skills; sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating, and decision-making skills
  • Experience working effectively with global teams in multiple time zones
  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of professional development training and experience
