Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional and results-driven Technical Project Manager to join our Superconducting R&D team in Milpitas, CA. This role requires compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information. Any offer of employment will be contingent on the need for compliance with such Export Control Laws. This role requires driving engineering projects within Superconducting from inception to completion, with a near-term focus on driving Superconducting systems through final design, and a longer-term focus on leading and overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of complex engineering projects. The role also involves taking ownership of project success, setting milestones, ensuring deliverables are met, adhering to budget and timeline parameters, developing comprehensive project plans, leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets and schedules, and actively managing risks.

Responsibilities

  • Drive engineering projects from inception to completion
  • Drive Superconducting systems through final design
  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of complex engineering projects

Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Exceptional leadership abilities
  • Deep understanding of technical project lifecycles
  • 8-10 years of experience in engineering and project management
  • Experience with a wide range of engineering disciplines
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and personal accountability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to engage and influence stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of project management, planning, and scheduling methods
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and time management skills
