Job Description

The Operations Manager will oversee the fabrication and integration of battery energy storage enclosures at a contract manufacturer's facility. This role focuses on operational excellence, quality control, and efficient production processes, working closely with the contract manufacturer and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations at the contract manufacturer's facility
• Ensure production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained
• Implement and oversee quality control processes
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Work closely with contract manufacturer's project team and internal teams
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Review and analyze KPIs with the contract manufacturer
• Address and resolve operational issues
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
• 12-15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the battery energy storage industry
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Proven track record of process improvement
• Familiarity with quality control methodologies, lean manufacturing principles, and industry-specific regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with contract manufacturers (preferred)
• Knowledge of battery energy storage systems and enclosure fabrication (preferred)
• Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing (preferred)
