Job Description

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Sales Floor Leader for their Retail Operations team. The role supports the Store Manager in creating an excellent customer experience, driving sales, and achieving business goals. Responsibilities include leading daily operations, motivating the team, analyzing sales trends, developing action plans, enforcing company policies, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment for customers
  • Assist and sell to customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries and needs
  • Provide strong leadership on the sales floor
  • Ensure exceptional customer service
  • Manage day-to-day store operations
  • Handle opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
  • Achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
  • Use effective selling and merchandising techniques
  • Partner with store support teams to increase sales
  • Support the Store Manager in managing store expenses and budgets
  • Utilize company tools to diagnose opportunities and develop action plans
  • Monitor inventory levels and participate in inventory management
  • Support the store manager in training store staff
  • Ensure pricing, signage, and displays are correct
  • Receive vendor deliveries and stock sales floor
  • Control inventory stock levels and reordering
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Retail or Hospitality management experience (preferred)
  • Wine, Spirits & Beer product knowledge (preferred)
  • Ability to work full-time employment (nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to the sale of alcohol
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
